Saeko Hayashi

Saeko Hayashi

My name is Saeko S. Hayashi, working in two different teams at Subaru Telescope. The primary one is the Day Crew Group within the Science Operation Division. I try to coordinate various works to be done during the day time to ensure efficient observations at night. From time to time, I go up to rend my hands to help the field crews. The secondary role is to assist the Director's Office. Things like the summit facility tour, we have to accommodate many requests. Also there are things like desk space for new staff, equip them with necessary gears, and so on. By organizing these things, I hope the operation of this institute goes well.

What I would like to talk about this year? Solar system exploration (and a little bit of extra solar system) - recent results from Subaru Telescope. Birth process of the stars and the planets is my true interest.
